Instructions for use of ENsafe™MG ionoplast interlayer:
1.Cut the packaging bag from one long side with a knife, shake it slightly and take out the ENsafe™MG film.
2.In the process of taking out and using, the operator must wear lint-free gloves and dust-proof and anti-static clothing to avoid the dirt inside the laminated glass caused by the electrostatic adsorption of impurities generated by the ENsafe™MG film.
3.In discontinuous production, the ENsafe™MG film packaging bag should be sealed with tape or heat sealer to avoid the ENsafe™MG film being exposed to the environment and absorbing moisture, which will lead to the decrease of bonding performance.
4.It is recommended to test the moisture content of ENsafe™MG film (by thermogravimetric method) before each production to ensure that the moisture content of the membrane used is less than 0.2%.
Rolling process control:
1.The loading worker should confirm the tin surface of the incoming glass to ensure that the structure of the laminated glass is empty/tin/ENsafe™ MG/tin/empty. Because of the bonding method between ENsafe™MG interlayer and glass is in the form of ionic bonds,the bonding of glass tin liquid surface to the interior of the laminated glass can improve the glass bonding strength,thereby increasing the service life.
2.Ensure the quality of the water in the washing machine (deionized water is used under conditions), and try to avoid impurities such as organic matter remaining after glass cleaning. On the one hand, avoid stains and reduce the adhesion between ENsafe™MG and glass; On the other hand, avoid the dirt inside the sandwich product.
3.When producing tempered laminated glass, it is necessary to strictly control the flatness (bow and wave) of the tempered glass and the fit of the two pieces of glass to improve the edge sealing quality.
4.Before laminating the sheets, workers should clean various impurities on the ENsafe™MG film with a glue roller, including the impurities entrained in the ENsafe™MG film itself, the impurities on adsorption, and the impurities that fall on the film without attention.
5. When cutting ENsafe™MG film, use a wallpaper knife to draw an outline along the template, and then tear the ENsafe™MG film along the scratches of the outline.

The above parameters are for reference only, each unit can reasonably adjust the parameter design (temperature and speed) according to the glass length, layout size, and equipment conditions.
7.For all kinds of coatings (color glaze surface, sunshine film surface and low-E film surface, etc.) and ENsafe™MG film contact synthetic laminated glass, to carry out compatibility test and bond performance test to determine the product machinability and quality.
8.Due to the hardness of ENsafe™MG film, it is usually not required to prepress the first pair of press rolls but only the second pair of press rolls behind the main heating furnace when used in single layer (note: the upper and lower glass must be fixed with high temperature glue when used in multiple layers, otherwise the glass can be mispositioned).
9.The gap of the second pair of rollers is 3mm smaller than the nominal thickness of the glass. The surface temperature of the second pair of laminated glass rollers should be 65±3℃. The roller speed can be adjusted according to the surface temperature of the glass and the edge sealing condition after the glass is prepressed.
10.After prepressing, the clearance of the glass on the stacking shelf is at least the nominal thickness of the glass. At the same time, it is not recommended to use metal rods as clearance objects, which will affect the normal air flow between the glasses, lead to uneven heating and cooling of the glass, and lead to uneven force on the glass plate surface, resulting in light distortion.
11.The heat preservation temperature of the autoclave is not lower than 135℃, the heat preservation time is not less than 90min, the working pressure is 11.5~12.8bar, and the exhaust temperature is not higher than 42℃.
For laminated glass with more than two layers or two layers of film superimposed, we do not recommend rolling the glass, need to take the vacuum process. The laminated glass can be pre-rolled first, without complete edge sealing, and then vacuum bag treatment (cold pumping) is carried out. The glass layout is large or there are many interlayers. It is recommended to use more suction silica gel tubes to ensure the vacuum degree of the vacuum bag.
1. The temperature is lower than 25℃, and the humidity is lower than 30%.
2. Avoid direct sunlight, waterproof and moisture-proof, away from heat sources, do not squeeze.
3. Please keep the unused film properly. It is recommended to make a sample glass with an area of not less than 0.5㎡ before the next use to confirm the product quality.
4. ENsafe™MG high-strength ionoplast interlayer material should be stored in rolls in vacuum moisture-proof bags. ENsafe™MG interlayer materials supplied in rolls can be stored in the normal temperature range, but after unpacking the vacuum moisture-proof bags It should be used as soon as possible, and unused products should be sealed and packaged in time and placed in a constant temperature and humidity room.
5. It is recommended to use up the purchased interlayer within two years from the date of purchase, in order to avoid the deterioration of the bonding performance as much as possible.
